Cyndi and are both back in the office after visiting Greenland and Iceland.

Cyndi experienced western Greenland as a guest of HX Expeditions, while I explored eastern Greenland as a guest of Quark Expeditions.

Having experienced this incredible destination with two different expedition operators—and explored different regions of Greenland—we have a unique perspective on what each experience has to offer. I even witnessed the northern lights and below is my photo to prove it along with another photo of the Quark Ultramarine in ice. What a trip!

Cyndi and I are always attending after-hours travel events, discovering new trends, destinations and experiences so that we can bring fresh ideas to our clients.

A few months ago, we attended a fascinating evening focused on Madagascar — and it certainly got us thinking!

Located off the east coast of Mozambique, Madagascar is a truly extraordinary destination, with one of the most diverse landscapes on the planet. From lush tropical rainforests and dramatic karst limestone pinnacles, to turquoise lagoons and ancient baobab forests, this is a place unlike anywhere else.

And then there’s the wildlife! Madagascar is home to incredible species including lemurs, chameleons and an amazing variety of birdlife. As the world’s fourth-largest island, there is an enormous amount to explore.

We’re now considering putting together a small-group adventure to Madagascar in 2028.

The southern shoreline of the Black Sea is breathtaking — almost like Switzerland in summer — and September is a wonderful time to experience the region, including the hazelnut harvest.

And then there’s Türkiye… one of the world’s major producers of pistachios and cherries, not to mention the irresistible baklava and döner kebab.

This is far more than a holiday — it’s an adventure through extraordinary landscapes, fascinating cultures, ancient history and some seriously delicious cuisine.
